About the Role:

We are seeking a PhD/Postdoctoral Researcher in Quantum Physics, Quantum Mathematics, or related fields to lead the design and validation of cutting-edge educational courses in Quantum Technology. The candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring that course content is not only scientifically rigorous but also industry-relevant, bridging fundamental quantum science with real-world applications in computational chemistry, drug discovery, material science, and finance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Curriculum Development & Validation
  • Design end-to-end course structures spanning foundational to advanced levels in quantum technology.
  • Validate course content developed by content writers, ensuring academic accuracy and conceptual clarity.
  • Map learning outcomes, progression pathways, and prerequisites for each module.

  • Foundational Modules

  • Develop and validate fundamentals of:

  • Mathematics: Linear algebra, probability, complex numbers, tensor calculus, group theory.
  • Physics: Quantum mechanics principles (superposition, entanglement, measurement, operators, Hamiltonians).

  • Chemistry: Electronic structure theory, molecular orbitals, reaction dynamics relevant to quantum simulations.

  • Core Quantum Technology Modules

  • Quantum computing fundamentals: Qubits, gates, circuits, error correction.
  • Quantum algorithms: VQE, QAOA, Grover's, Shor's, quantum simulation methods.
  • Quantum machine learning and hybrid quantum-classical workflows.
  • Quantum hardware overview (superconducting qubits, trapped ions, photonic platforms).
  • Application-Oriented Modules
  • Computational Chemistry & Drug Discovery
  • Quantum simulations of molecules and reaction pathways.
  • Protein-ligand docking and binding affinity prediction.
  • Material Science
  • Designing new energy storage materials (batteries, catalysts, superconductors).
  • Quantum-enhanced material property prediction.
  • Finance
  • Portfolio optimization using quantum algorithms.
  • Quantum Monte Carlo simulations for risk analysis and option pricing.
  • Capstone & Use Case Integration
  • Design case-study-driven modules showing enterprise applications.
  • Develop hands-on project ideas linking quantum theory to real-world impact.
  • Ensure industry relevance by aligning content with latest research and technology trends.

Requirements:

  • PhD or Postdoctoral experience in Quantum Physics, Quantum Mathematics, Quantum Computing, or closely related fields.
  • Proven research background with peer-reviewed publications in quantum science or related domains.
  • Strong ability to translate theoretical concepts into structured, teachable content.
  • Familiarity with computational chemistry, materials modeling, or quantum finance applications is highly desirable.
  • Experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Pennylane, Cirq, PySCF, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and academic writing skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in curriculum design or teaching (university or MOOCs).
  • Knowledge of multidisciplinary integration across physics, chemistry, and applied mathematics.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise adoption of quantum technology in pharma, materials, and finance.
  • Ability to mentor junior researchers, content writers, or course developers.
