Role & responsibilities

The Assistant Professor in Entrepreneurship will play a critical role in fostering a dynamic entrepreneurial ecosystem among students. The position focuses on driving outreach, supporting student ventures, coordinating strategic partnerships, and managing startup initiatives and activities at the colleges entrepreneurship cell (e Cell).

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Student Entrepreneurship Ecosystem

  2. Promote and nurture a culture of student entrepreneurship on campus.

  3. Develop strategies to attract and onboard promising technology startups.

  4. Industry and Mentorship Engagement

  5. Identify and collaborate with industry leaders for structured student mentorship programs.

  6. Serve as the primary point of contact for partnerships that benefit student entrepreneurs.

  7. Events and Program Management

  8. Take charge of planning and executing events, workshops, and meet-ups at the e Cell or in the region.

  9. Provide logistical and operational support for entrepreneurship programs and events.

  10. Collaboration & Coordination

  11. Work closely with the e Cell Steering Committee to ensure the success of entrepreneurial initiatives.

  12. Support meetings and engagements with partner organisations.

  13. Government and Policy Interface

  14. Liaise with government departments for efficient operation of the incubation facility.

  15. Assist in the implementation of state startup and procurement policies.

  16. Program Representation & Leadership

  17. Represent the Entrepreneurship program at Inspiria as its official spokesperson.

  18. Prepare and submit proposals for various government startup initiatives.

  19. Investor Network Development

  20. Build and sustain a regional investor network to provide reliable support for emerging startups.

Requirements

Computer Proficiency (Theoretical & Practical)

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Familiarity with G Suite applications
  • Capable of supporting students using digital tools in both academic and professional settings
