Job Title: Accountant – Event Management CompanyCompany Overview:

We are a fast-growing event management and experiential marketing agency, managing large-scale corporate events, productions, and brand activations. We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team and manage accounting operations across multiple event projects.

Scope of Work (SOW):

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing day-to-day accounting using Zoho .
  • Handling GST, Income Tax, and Professional Tax filings and compliance.
  • Preparing purchase orders, estimates, and client/vendor invoices.
  • Tracking receivables, client payments, and vendor reconciliations.
  • Maintaining audit-ready documentation and assisting with Organization accounts.
  • Coordinating with internal teams, clients, and vendors for accounting-related tasks.
  • Supporting financial reporting and budget tracking for event projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily accounting entries and reconciliations in MS Excel ,Zoho or Odoo experience is a plus
  • Prepare and verify invoices, purchase orders, and expense statements.
  • Oversee GST, IT, and PT compliance including return filings.
  • Monitor accounts payable and receivable.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial monitoring for projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, operations, and client servicing) to ensure smooth financial coordination.
  • Maintain records for audits and ensure compliance with company financial policies.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education: B.Com / Accounts / Finance Degree
  • Experience: 0–2 years (freshers with internship experience in accounting can apply)
  • Software Skills: MS Excel ,Zoho or Odoo experience is a plus
  • Strong understanding of GST, Income Tax, and Professional Tax compliance
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Kannada.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and accountable with an ownership mindset

Experience in events / media / production / agency environments preferred
