Professional Certifications

Essential (Revised)

  • CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) by ISACA, USA

  • Mandatory

  • Must be valid as of the interview date

Desirable (Revised) Any of the following:

  1. ISO 27001 Lead Auditor by NABCB
  2. CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) by EC-Council, USA
  3. CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) by (ISC)
  4. MBA from a recognized university/institute

Experience Requirements

Essential Experience

  • Minimum 15 years in:

  • BFSI / IT / Information Security Consultancy

  • Focus on IS Audit / Cyber Security Audit

  • Out of these, minimum 10 years in a leadership role

Training & Teaching experience will not be considered

Experience must be certified/documented by an official certificate/letter from employer

Preferred Experience

  • Exposure to:

  • Red Team exercises

  • Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing (VA-PT)

Specific Skills (Preferred)

  • Hands-on experience with VAPT tools like:

  • Nessus

  • Retina
  • SAINT
  • Kali Linux

  • Other relevant system tools

  • Implementation of Regulatory/CERT-In guidelines in audits

  • Awareness/Knowledge of Data Privacy Standards
  • Experience in Supply Chain Cyber Risk assessment during vendor audits
