Job Summary:

The
Production Planning & Project Coordinator
will be responsible for planning, tracking, and coordinating production and project activities across SRB's technical divisions. The role ensures efficient utilization of resources, timely delivery of products and systems, and smooth coordination between internal teams, vendors, and clients for ongoing industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain detailed
    production and project schedules
    aligned with client delivery timelines.
  • Coordinate with
    design, procurement, quality, and logistics
    teams to ensure smooth project flow.
  • Monitor
    project progress
    , identify bottlenecks, and initiate corrective measures to meet deadlines.
  • Track
    material procurement
    , production stages, and vendor deliveries through ERP/project management tools.
  • Assist in
    resource allocation
    , manpower planning, and equipment utilization.
  • Prepare
    progress reports, dashboards, and documentation
    for management and client reviews.
  • Support project execution by ensuring adherence to
    quality standards, compliance norms
    , and company procedures.
  • Facilitate coordination between
    internal stakeholders and external partners
    for project execution.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in planning, scheduling, and coordination processes.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong organizational, coordination, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in
    MS Office, MS Project, ERP systems
    , or similar planning tools.
  • Good understanding of
    production planning, project execution, and supply chain processes.
  • Effective communicator with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of
    industrial production standards
    will be an added advantage.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in
    Mechanical / Industrial / Production Engineering
    or equivalent.
  • 3–7 years of relevant experience in
    production planning or project coordination
    , preferably in
    heavy engineering, or manufacturing industries.
  • Certification in
    Project Management / Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma
    (preferred but not mandatory).
