Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a CAT Modeling Technician based in Pune. The CAT Modeling Technician will be responsible for managing and analyzing catastrophe modeling data, preparing reports, and ensuring the accuracy of results. The role involves executing data processing, assisting in risk assessments, performing model validation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support underwriting, actuarial analysis, and decision-making processes. The individual will work with industry-standard tools and software to deliver high-quality outputs.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in catastrophe modeling tools and software as per industry-recognized platforms
  • Strong data processing and analytical skills, including experience with Excel, or similar tools
  • Knowledge of risk assessment, model validation, and insurance concepts
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork across departments
  • Previous experience in the insurance industry or CAT modeling domain is a plus
