SharePoint Practice Lead (Individual Contributor with CoE responsibility)

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced
SharePoint Lead
with
8+ years of hands-on experience
in both
SharePoint development and administration
. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in
SharePoint Online and On-Premises
, including solution design, customization, integration, migration, and governance. This role requires strong leadership to guide a team, collaborate with business stakeholders, and ensure secure, scalable, and high-performing SharePoint environments.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead design, development, deployment, and administration of
SharePoint Online & On-Premises
solutions.

· Build and maintain custom solutions using
SharePoint Framework (SPFx), Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI), and CSOM/REST APIs
.

· Manage
SharePoint farms, site collections, permissions, and security policies
.

· Oversee
migration projects
(SharePoint On-Prem to Online, version upgrades).

· Implement governance, compliance, and best practices for SharePoint environments.

· Integrate SharePoint with
Microsoft 365 ecosystem
(Teams, OneDrive, Exchange).

· Troubleshoot, optimize performance, and ensure
high availability and disaster recovery
.

· Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.

· Mentor junior team members and provide technical leadership across SharePoint projects.

Required Skills & Experience

·
8+ years of hands-on experience
in SharePoint Development and Administration.

· Strong expertise in
SharePoint Online, SharePoint 2016/2019, and M365 suite
.

· Proficiency in
SPFx, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, HTML5, CSS, C#, PowerShell
.

· Experience in
Power Platform
(PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI).

· Strong knowledge of
SharePoint migration tools
(ShareGate, Metalogix, etc.).

· Expertise in
SharePoint permissions, authentication, and security management
.

· Solid understanding of
workflows, document management, and enterprise content management
.

· Experience integrating SharePoint with third-party and legacy systems.

· Knowledge of
SQL Server, IIS, and Active Directory
in relation to SharePoint.

· Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
