The Lighting Designer ( DGM Level ) will be responsible for developing innovative lighting solutions for various commercial, and mixed-use real estate projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of both functional and aesthetic lighting design, ensuring that our spaces are both practical and visually compelling .

Role & responsibilities

  • Develop creative lighting concepts that enhance the aesthetic appeal, safety, and energy efficiency of properties.

  • Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and engineers to integrate lighting systems seamlessly into overall project designs.

  • Conduct lighting analysis and simulations to ensure optimal light distribution and functionality.

  • Review and approve lighting fixture selections, lighting controls, and placement layouts.

  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety standards, and regulations related to lighting.

  • Present lighting design concepts to clients, project stakeholders, and internal teams.

  • Modify designs based on client feedback, ensuring satisfaction and alignment with project goals.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Master degree in Lighting Design, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.

  • 12+ years of experience in lighting design, preferably within the real estate or architecture industry.

  • Proficiency in lighting design software (e.g., DIALux, AutoCAD, Revit).

  • Knowledge of sustainable lighting practices and energy-efficient design.

  • Experience with large-scale commercial, residential, or mixed-use projects.

  • Certification in LEED or other sustainability practices is a plus

  • Experience in smart lighting systems and automation.
