A Billing Assistant (QS) job involves managing project costs and billing, including preparing invoices and cost estimates, monitoring budgets, and ensuring compliance with contracts. The role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in software like AutoCAD and MS Excel, and the ability to coordinate with clients and subcontractors. Core responsibilities

  • Cost management and budgeting: Monitor project costs against budget, perform data entry and analysis, and assist with preparing cost estimates.
  • Billing and invoicing: Prepare and process client invoices, subcontractor bills, and tender documents.
  • Documentation: Maintain records of contracts, amendments, and payment certificates. Prepare and submit reports to management.
  • Site coordination: Conduct site visits to verify work completion and quantities, collaborate with site engineers, and ensure compliance with standards.
  • Rate analysis: Prepare rate analyses and joint measurement sheets for extra or non-tender items.

Required qualifications

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is often required.
  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience in quantity surveying, billing, or project planning within the construction industry.
  • Technical skills: Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, MS Project, Excel, and ERP systems.
  • Soft skills: Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail: Meticulous with numerical accuracy and record-keeping.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20, ₹35,000.00 per month
