Role & responsibilities

The Factory Logistics Manager manages all logistics operations at the factory level, ensuring timely dispatches, inventory accuracy, warehouse efficiency, and cost-effective transport solutions. The role plays a key part in aligning factory operations with cluster-level and organizational supply chain goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all factory logistics operations for both greenfield units and co-packers.
  • Oversee inventory management to maintain stock accuracy and availability.
  • Ensure transport planning and execution to meet cost and service benchmarks.
  • Drive productivity improvement among factory labour resources.
  • Maintain 100% dispatch compliance in line with business and customer needs.
  • Enforce robust warehouse controls for safety, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Initiate and implement cost reduction projects at the factory level.
  • Lead efficiency improvement projects to optimize processes.
  • Monitor and manage slow-moving inventory, coordinating disposal when required.
  • Conduct cycle counts and ensure adherence to factory-level process management.
