About the Opportunity
A recruitment partner serving clients in the Enterprise Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, and Analytics sector. We work with organisations building large-scale ETL pipelines and reporting solutions to ensure reliable, accurate data flows that power analytics and operational reporting. This on-site role is India-based and focuses on hands-on ETL validation and quality assurance for data platform initiatives.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Design, execute, and maintain detailed ETL test cases and data validation scripts across source-to-target mappings.
  • Validate data transformations, business rules, and reconciliation for batch and incremental ETL jobs across data warehouses and data marts.
  • Perform SQL-based data verification, boundary testing, null/exception checks, and referential integrity validation.
  • Identify, log, and drive resolution of data defects with ETL developers; verify fixes and perform regression testing.
  • Execute performance and volume testing for ETL workflows; report bottlenecks and support optimization efforts.
  • Contribute to test automation, test data provisioning, and CI/CD integration for repeatable validation of ETL releases.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent preferred.
  • Proven hands-on experience in ETL testing, data validation, and data reconciliation in production environments.
  • Familiarity with Agile/SDLC processes and working in cross-functional delivery teams.
