About the role

Build and scale the Inkstall Student app features (Focus Mode, Paper Tracker, Rewards), teacher dashboards, and ERP modules. Ship fast with real student impact.

Tech you'll use

Frontend: React (Vite), TypeScript, Tailwind

Backend: (Express/Nest), REST/GraphQL

DB: MongoDB / PostgreSQL

Infra: AWS Amplify (FE), EC2 + PM2 (BE), Nginx, S3, CloudFront, CI/CD, Git

Nice: OCR (Tesseract/Google Vision), file uploads, background jobs/queues, WebSockets

Responsibilities

  • Own features end-to-end: schema → APIs → UI → deploy → monitor.
  • Implement secure auth, role-based access, and event tracking (GA4/GTM).
  • Optimize performance (bundle size, DB indexes, caching, pagination).
  • Production ops: logs, alerts, rollbacks; harden with rate limits & input validation.
  • Code quality: reviews, tests, docs; collaborate with design & PMM.

Must-haves

  • 2–5 years shipping React + Node in production.
  • Strong with REST, JWT/session auth, MongoDB/Postgres modeling.
  • Familiar with AWS/EC2/PM2/Nginx deploys and environment secrets.
  • Writes clean, typed code (TypeScript preferred).

Good-to-have

  • OCR/LLM integrations, queues (BullMQ/Celery-like), payments, multi-tenant design.
  • Mobile packaging (Capacitor/React Native) or microservices basics.

KPIs

  • Lead time to production, error rate, P95 latency, crash-free sessions, feature adoption.
