Role Overview:

As a Video Editing Intern, you will assist in creating short-form and long-form video content for YouTube and other social media platforms. You'll learn how to use AI-based editing tools, optimize videos for YouTube, and develop a professional workflow for digital news production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit daily news videos using raw footage, voiceovers, and graphics.
  • Add motion text, transitions, background music, and effects to enhance viewer engagement.
  • Collaborate with the scripting and voiceover team to produce cohesive video outputs.
  • Create YouTube thumbnails, intros, and outros aligned with the brand style.
  • Experiment with AI-powered editing tools (e.g., Runway ML, Descript, Pika Labs, CapCut AI, Synthesia).
  • Maintain editing timelines and deliver content promptly.

Who Can Apply:

  • Students or recent graduates in Media, Visual Communication, Journalism, or related fields.
  • Passionate about video editing, news content, and digital storytelling.
  • Familiar with Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut.
  • Interested in learning AI video editing and automation tools.
  • Must have a good sense of visual flow, timing, and basic audio syncing.
  • Excellent proficiency in written Tamil is required.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in English (both verbal and written) is essential.
