National Defence Institute (NDI) is one of India's leading academies for Defence & UPSC exam preparation. We are passionate about empowering aspirants through high-quality education, inspiring storytelling, and impactful visual content.

We're expanding our creative team and looking for a talented Video Editor who can turn our ideas into engaging reels, YouTube videos, and academic explainers.

 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit high-quality 
    YouTube videos, reels, and promo clips
     for NDI's official pages.
  • Work closely with the content & marketing team to craft 
    educational and motivational videos
    .
  • Add subtitles, transitions, B-rolls, sound effects, and creative visual elements.
  • Adapt long-form content (lectures/webinars) into short-form formats (reels, shorts).
  • Maintain 
    brand tone, consistency, and storytelling style
     across platforms.
  • Manage deadlines and organize project files for efficient workflows.

 
Requirements:

  • Proficiency in 
    Adobe Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro / DaVinci Resolve
    .
  • Strong sense of 
    timing, pacing, and visual storytelling
    .
  • Basic knowledge of 
    color grading, sound mixing, and motion graphics
    .
  • Creativity to transform academic content into 
    visually engaging narratives
    .
  • Prior experience in 
    educational, YouTube, or social media editing
     preferred.
  • Passion for Defence, UPSC, or competitive exams is a plus.
