How will you do it?
PLANNING

  • Ensure that inventory is replenished and stocked in the correct warehouses to support projected

forecasts and customer order requests.

  • Ensure that PO delivery dates and information is accurate at all times so that our customer service and sales teams are clear on the supply position.
  • Action Defer & Expedite requests to ensure stock orders are being pulled in / pushed out to maintain supply of inventory to support customer requirement with also a focus on maintaining optimum stock levels.
  • Support the Order management team with product delivery information.
  • Work closely with the Demand planning team to ensure inventory levels are maintained in line with the KPI's.
  • Work closely with logistics and warehouse teams on inbound delivery actions.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

  • Establish a strong network and foster collaboration with key stakeholders and team members.
  • Ensure team works in conjunction with Product Management, Sales, Finance and Operations to maintain required knowledge of customer practices, needs and strategies as they relate to forecasting and customer ordering processes.
  • Work in a fast-paced global environment using multiple systems and requiring development of ad hoc reports integrating data from a variety of sources.

OPERATIONS

  • Drive/support operations related and ad-hoc projects.
  • Help to resolve complex demand/supply imbalances with key stakeholders.
  • Partner closely with Supply Chain and Logistics to successfully manage product transitions, both end of life and new product introductions.
  • Participate in efforts to reduce costs throughout the Supply Chain.

Required
What we look for:

  • 5+ years of experience in Supply Planning for an OEM in a global manufacturing and distribution environment with an understanding of B2B, B2C and supply chain management.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills with a proven ability to understand key concepts and communicate with business stakeholders leading through influence.
  • Building relationships with key internal and external customers based on trust and confidence.
  • Strong organizational skills and able to manage multiple priorities with competing demands.
  • Strong analytical, data processing and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in process formulation and improvement.
  • Proficiency in working in a fast-paced, complex, dynamic, multicultural business environment.
  • Deep knowledge and experience in supply chain planning, inventory control and management practices and procedures, customer service, ERP and IBP.
  • Experience applying statistical models and analytics.

Preferred

  • Systems/ERP knowledge – SAP/JDE/Oracle
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications
  • APICS, CPIM, CPSM, or CPF certification
  • Six Sigma / Lean Experience
