Job Title: Senior Software Engineer (Ruby on Rails + Angular 8+)

Experience: 4 to 6 Years

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Ruby on Rails Developer with expertise in Angular 8+ to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing and building scalable, high-performance web applications. In this role, you will play a key part in driving architectural decisions, mentoring junior developers, and delivering end-to-end solutions that provide a seamless user experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design and Architect scalable and secure web applications leveraging Ruby on Rails (RoR) and Angular 8+.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices and coding standards.
  • Develop and integrate RESTful APIs to enable seamless communication between front-end and back-end services.
  • Optimize performance at both application and database levels to ensure speed and scalability.
  • Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to deliver innovative features and solutions.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers, conducting code reviews and providing technical leadership.
  • Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Implement and maintain comprehensive unit testing frameworks (Minitest, Jasmine, Karma) to ensure code stability and reliability.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements and DevOps initiatives to streamline the deployment process.

Required Skills

  • 4-6 years of hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails and Angular 8+.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Proven expertise in designing and integrating RESTful APIs.
  • Strong understanding of PostgreSQL and database optimization techniques.
  • Experience with Git, version control workflows, and CI/CD practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in distributed systems.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with experience working in cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with GraphQL for API design and integration.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with performance monitoring tools and application security best practices.
