We are seeking a UI Developer with knowledge of WordPress development (including WooCommerce), responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating custom WordPress designs from mockups and prototype designs provided by the UI/UX Team. This position requires a combination of programming skills (namely, advanced HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, along with basic working knowledge of PHP) and responsive web development. The candidate should have a strong understanding of industry trends and content management systems (CMS). Experience with responsive and adaptive design is strongly preferred. Additionally, a comprehensive understanding of the entire web development process, encompassing design, development, and deployment, is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme using various plugins and coding knowledge.
  • Continually keep yourself and your design team updated with the latest trends and techniques in your industry's standards.

Skills

  • Designing and implementing new features and functionality for Web Portals, Web Apps, Websites, WordPress-based Websites, Shopify stores and other projects.
  • Establishing and guiding the project's architecture based on the design provided.
  • Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the WordPress CMS
  • Knowledge of the WooCommerce framework to be used with WordPress CMS.
  • Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Shopify
  • Experience building responsive user interfaces for websites, web portals, and web applications
  • Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
  • Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers
  • Ability to convert comprehensive layout mock-ups and wireframes into working web pages.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹16, ₹18,000.00 per month
