Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a WordPress Developer, based in Pune. The WordPress Developer will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development including the creation of WordPress themes and plugins. They will work closely with clients and design teams to develop responsive and visually appealing websites. Daily tasks include troubleshooting website issues, optimizing website performance, and ensuring website functionality and efficiency.


Key Responsibilities
:


• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites and themes.


• Build custom WordPress plugins and integrate third-party APIs as required.


• Implement website designs using Elementor, WPBakery, Divi, or custom themes.


• Ensure website performance, speed optimization, and responsiveness across all devices.


• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, bugs, and compatibility problems.


• Work closely with designers, SEO, and digital marketing teams to deliver user-friendly websites.


• Manage website migrations, hosting setup, and maintenance tasks.


• Keep up-to-date with the latest WordPress updates, trends, and technologies.


Required Skills:


• Proficient in WordPress, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP, and MySQL.


• Experience with Elementor, Divi, or other popular WordPress builders.


• Understanding of SEO best practices, Google PageSpeed optimization, and web security.


• Knowledge of cPanel, FTP, domain management, and web hosting.


• Basic understanding of version control (Git) is a plus.


• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.


Qualification:


• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.


• –3 years of hands-on experience in WordPress development.


Preferred Skills (Optional):


• Experience with WooCommerce, LMS, or membership-based websites.


• Familiarity with REST API integration.
