Company Overview:

The Chennai Silks is one of India's largest textile retail chains with a strong presence in South India. Our corporate office in Tirupur manages large-scale infrastructure, retail projects, and corporate operations. We are seeking a Civil AutoCAD Engineer to support our design and project management team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and develop
    2D/3D AutoCAD drawings
    for civil and structural projects.
  • Assist in creating
    architectural layouts, structural details, and construction drawings
    .
  • Coordinate with the civil/project team for design modifications and corrections.
  • Maintain and update drawing records, revisions, and documentation.
  • Support site engineers with
    accurate drawings and quantity take-offs
    .
  • Ensure designs comply with
    company standards, safety, and quality guidelines
    .

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Qualification:
    Diploma / B.E. in Civil Engineering.
  • Experience:
    Fresher to 2 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting (Civil).
  • Strong knowledge of
    AutoCAD 2D/3D
    ; exposure to Revit/SketchUp will be an added advantage.
  • Good understanding of
    civil drawings, building plans, and detailing
    .
  • Ability to work under guidance, meet deadlines, and coordinate with teams.
