Procurement Analyst

What you will do

• Will process vendor creation, extensions and maintenance records in SAP Altair
• Will assist in managing supplier relationships for vendor records and payment support
• Will assist in researching/correcting Altair vendor account errors (banking, tax, remit address)
• Will support the creation and management of Purchase Orders in SAP Altair
• Will produce SAP payment reports to support the Purchase Order and vendor payment process
• Will assist or occasionally work internally and with suppliers to identify and drive cost reduction initiatives to meet cost/saving targets
• Assist in analyzing purchasing effectiveness and resolve purchasing issues
• Work with business partners to collect vendor requirements for products and services
• Identify qualified providers for required products and/or services with consideration to both domestic and offshore vendors
• May assist in the negotiation process with vendors and select providers to deliver cost-effective procurement solutions for cross-functional stakeholders throughout the organization
• Demonstrate a consistent commitment to field-focused service by prioritizing field-based requests, responding quickly and favorably to field-based feedback, by minimizing tasks, and proactively seeking ways to help teams focus on customer service as productively as possible
• Ability to analyze billing procedures and identify opportunities for improvement
• Review invoices to ensure billing accuracy and compliance with contractual rates/terms
• Ability to analyze contract agreements to understand payment terms and billing rates
• Previous experience as a Procurement Analyst or Billing Analyst or in a similar role

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3 - 5 years experience using Microsoft Suite, Outlook Email and Excel is a must
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong command of English
• Hands on experience in managing Procurement processes
• Understanding of the processes and sourcing strategies for assigned categories
• Ensure procurement practices adhere to company's legal and compliance policies and guidelines

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Finance or Accounting related degree preferred or equivalent of 2+ years of professional work experience as a buyer or procurement analyst
• Ability to work under demanding time constraints and production goals
