We're looking for an experienced Senior Staff Software Engineer to join our Zero Trust Exchange Team. Reporting to the Senior Director, Engineering, you'll be responsible for:

• Partnering with Product Management to drive detailed product requirements
• Defining software design specifications and implementing bug free code using test driven methodology. 
• Looking for opportunities to refactor existing code in the interests of maintainability and reusability
• Collaborating closely with other cross functional engineering teams (security, UI, platform, analytics and quality assurance) 
• Diagnosing complex customer issues and taking ownership of issue resolution

What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

• Minimum 7 years software development experience in building large-scale commercial networking and security applications in C programming Language
• Knowledge of networking protocols and services (DNS, HTTP, TCP/IP, SSL/TLS) combined with expertise in firewall policy enforcement and traffic forwarding rules
• Good Unix/Linux Kernel & file system knowledge
• Proficiency in using debugging tools such as GDB debuggers and logic analyzers
• Strong hands-on experience with Operating Systems like Linux, FreeBSD or similar

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Good knowledge with AWS/Azure/GCP networking, namely - transit gateway, IGW, NATGW, NACL, security groups. GWLB, ILB, Route53, Azure DNS.
• Knowledge of Firewall policy enforcement and traffic forwarding rule
