Role Description

This is an on-site contract role for a Compositing Artist, based in Chennai. The successful candidate will be responsible for integrating live-action footage with CGI, ensuring seamless visual effects for films, series, or commercials. Day-to-day tasks include adjusting color and lighting for consistency, enhancing visuals with proper layering techniques, and collaborating with the VFX team to finalize composite shots as per the production's requirements.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Compositing techniques, with experience using software such as Nuke or Adobe After Effects.
  • Strong understanding of Roto & Paint workflows, including Masking and Cleanup.
  • Knowledge of Color Correcting, Lighting, and consistent layering for seamless VFX integration.
  • Ability to work on complex shots and setting up the master shots.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in the VFX industry across feature films, commercials, and/or TV series is an advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree or relevant certification in Multimedia, Animation, or a related field preferred.
