Job Description: BIM Modeling (ELV)

Location: Ahmedabad

Objective of the Role

Ensure high-quality project delivery through accurate BIM modelling, coordination, and timely execution of assigned tasks.

Scope of Responsibility

Responsible for the technical quality, delivery timelines, and resource coordination of the assigned team in BIM projects, with a focus on ELV (Extra Low Voltage) systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead BIM coordination and resolve technical clashes in ELV systems using Navisworks.
  • Prepare and review detailed 3D BIM models.
  • Generate clash detection reports and follow up on resolution.
  • Conduct and lead BIM coordination meetings with consultants and clients.
  • Respond to consultant queries and highlight technical issues or conflicts.
  • Prepare BIM presentations and rendered visuals for client communication.
  • Maintain and update BIM deliverable tracking sheets.
  • Align ELV services with overall BIM coordination strategies.
  • Conduct BIM training sessions for internal STCO team during downtime.
  • Implement asset tagging and asset management within the BIM environment.

Educational Qualifications & Experience

  • Qualification:
    BE (Electrical)
  • Experience:
    Minimum 3 years in BIM Modelling & Coordination (preferably in ELV services)

Technical & Functional Skills

  • Software Proficiency:
    AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks
  • Technical Knowledge:
  • Basic and advanced BIM workflows
  • Modelling, coordination, and drawing production
  • ELV system coordination
  • Asset management and tagging in BIM

Behavioral Competencies

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Excellent team collaboration and people management
  • Active listening and effective communication
  • High integrity and process-oriented approach

Preferred Additional Skills

  • Basic understanding of MEP design principles
  • Knowledge of other BIM coordination tools (e.g., BIM Track)
  • Familiarity with design documentation workflows
