Key responsibilities:-

Ø The Business Applications Specialist will be working in the IT Business Applications department and be the key resource for supporting business systems and facilitating their optimal use.

Ø The specialist will be focusing on ERP (SAP Domain), combining strategic portfolio management with hands-on project execution to align applications with business goals and maximize value. Key duties include managing SAP ERP solutions, leading project execution from requirements to support, stakeholder collaboration, vendor coordination, governance, and application lifecycle management.

Ø The resource will work closely with IT management to ensure we have solid demand management for business processes and execute project management of application adoption for key business processes. This requires engagement with both business process owners and relevant SMEs throughout the company.

Ø Solid understanding of general business processes including finance and supply chain is preferred, as well as ability to author and implement policies and procedures essential to meet requirements of regulators.

Ø The specialist will also be highly involved in capacity planning, business continuity and security management.

Tasks & Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Ø Act as the primary point of contact for all business application projects and initiatives related to ERP.

Ø Partner with business stakeholders to understand processes, translate requirements into technology solutions, and prioritize ERP initiatives.

Ø Establish and maintain application governance frameworks, ensuring compliance, security, and lifecycle management.

Ø Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and application rationalization & develop and maintain roadmaps for ERP and business applications.

Ø Build and maintain the application portfolio management structure by adopting best practice frameworks

Ø Own and manage the entire portfolio (ERP), ensuring applications are optimized, integrated, secure, and aligned with organizational needs.

Ø Lead the design, implementation, and enhancement of SAP ERP solutions across key modules.

Ø Train and mentor as subject matter expert

Ø Create and help implement policies and procedures to support key business processes and their use of IT applications.

Ø Help with developing and improving the services provided by the global IT team

Ø Review Business Continuity plans and execute testing of D/R procedures together with relevant IT resources

Ø Project management of business application implementations

Ø Cover business application aspect of the IT change management process

Ø Provide 2nd and 3rd level business application support as appropriate.

Requirements

Education & Experience

Ø Educational background in IT or other relevant educational backgrounds

Ø Excellent stakeholder engagement, vendor management, and communication skills.

Ø 15+ years of experience in ERP/SAP domain along with proven experience managing business application portfolios

Ø Hands-on expertise in SAP S/4 HANA and modules such as SD, MM, FI/CO, PP.

Ø Experience in SAP S/4 HANA migrations and large-scale transformation programs.

Ø Strong knowledge of enterprise application ecosystem management (ERP, CRM, HRMS, collaboration tools, analytics platforms, etc.).

Ø Demonstrated ability to lead ERP/SAP implementations and business application projects.

Ø Strong knowledge of integration, governance, and compliance frameworks.

Ø Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.

Ø ITIL certification or understanding of ITIL methodology is preferred.

Ø TOGAF, COBIT, CGEIT or CISA certifications a plus

Ø PRINCE2 or PMP certifications a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹1,200, ₹2,500,000.00 per year
