Job Title: Senior Design Engineer – PHE & Fire Fighting

Experience Required: 20+ Years

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Design Engineer with expertise in Public Health Engineering (PHE) and Fire Fighting systems. The ideal candidate will bring 20+ years of design and engineering experience across Electrical, HVAC, and PHE-Fire Fighting services, with a proven track record in handling large-scale international and national projects including Commercial, Retail, Data Centres, Airports, Residential, and Infrastructure developments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and engineering of PHE and Fire Fighting systems for complex, multidisciplinary projects.
  • Prepare and review design drawings, hydraulic calculations, system layouts, technical specifications, and design reports.
  • Ensure all designs comply with international/national standards, codes, and client requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical teams to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Provide design leadership, mentoring, and guidance to project teams and junior engineers.
  • Evaluate vendor submissions, approve technical documentation, and support procurement processes.
  • Support project execution with site coordination, technical clarifications, and quality reviews.
  • Engage with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities to ensure smooth project delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Mechanical, Civil, or related Engineering discipline.
  • 20+ years of proven design experience in PHE and Fire Fighting systems, with exposure to Electrical and HVAC services.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Elite, or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of local and international codes/standards (e.g., NFPA, NBC, ASHRAE, IPC).
  • Demonstrated expertise in handling projects of diverse scale – from commercial and residential to data centres and airports.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong client-facing and communication skills.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in sustainable design, water conservation systems, and green building standards.
  • BIM-based project delivery experience.
