Job Title: Senior Design Engineer – PHE & Fire Fighting Experience Required: 20+ Years Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Design Engineer with expertise in Public Health Engineering (PHE) and Fire Fighting systems. The ideal candidate will bring 20+ years of design and engineering experience across Electrical, HVAC, and PHE-Fire Fighting services, with a proven track record in handling large-scale international and national projects including Commercial, Retail, Data Centres, Airports, Residential, and Infrastructure developments. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and engineering of PHE and Fire Fighting systems for complex, multidisciplinary projects. Prepare and review design drawings, hydraulic calculations, system layouts, technical specifications, and design reports. Ensure all designs comply with international/national standards, codes, and client requirements. Collaborate closely with architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical teams to deliver integrated solutions. Provide design leadership, mentoring, and guidance to project teams and junior engineers. Evaluate vendor submissions, approve technical documentation, and support procurement processes. Support project execution with site coordination, technical clarifications, and quality reviews. Engage with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities to ensure smooth project delivery. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, or related Engineering discipline. 20+ years of proven design experience in PHE and Fire Fighting systems, with exposure to Electrical and HVAC services. Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Elite, or equivalent. Strong knowledge of local and international codes/standards (e.g., NFPA, NBC, ASHRAE, IPC). Demonstrated expertise in handling projects of diverse scale – from commercial and residential to data centres and airports. Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Strong client-facing and communication skills. Preferred Experience: Experience in sustainable design, water conservation systems, and green building standards. BIM-based project delivery experience.
