What You'll Do- Provide leadership for New Product Introduction (NPI) at Suppliers, Lead supplier improvements in scalability,
cost, and quality.

• Review 2D ,3D CAD Mechanical Drawings an d conduct DFM with suppliers.
• Execute Tier 2 Mechanical Parts for sourcing and qualification activities, required for product release PPAP.
• Accountable for supplier audits to ensure their ability to meet part performance, delivery, and reliability expectations.

• Collaborate with Tesla Design, Quality, and Manufacturing to determine the ideal performance specifications
  and supplier metrics.

• Guide suppliers in developing exceptionally robust processes and procedures to promote efficient and seamless
  production of high-quality products.

• Provide input on new or alternative materials for improved design, manufacturability, or cost reduction.

• Able to work independently and under high pressure, an average of % travel, possibly on short notice
  What You' ll Bring:- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical, Industrial, or Material/Manufacturing Engineering Engineering.
• 1-4 Years Experience in Automotive Top Top-Level Assembly & mechanical Component Development preferred.
• Well versed with new product development and customer launch DFMEA & PFMEA and DFM

• Ability to learn new skills and processes, in development simulation methods and tools - Knowledge of
  simulation tools, design tools and methodologies, mechanical systems

• In -depth knowledge of Geometricdepth knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and inspectionDimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and inspection and and experience in conducting MSA(Measurement System Analysis
