Industrial Design Intern – Job Description

We are seeking an Industrial Design Intern to support our R&D and production teams. The role focuses on product design, prototyping, and preparing designs for manufacturing.

Responsibilities

  • Create product concepts and 3D CAD models (SolidWorks).
  • Support prototyping, assembly, and functional testing.
  • Assist in production-related tasks, including mold design and manufacturability checks.
  • Work with engineers to improve designs based on test results and feedback.
  • Document design updates and maintain project files.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a degree in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Understanding of plastics, injection/extrusion molding, and manufacturing processes.
  • Proficiency in CAD/SolidWorks; basic analysis with AI tools is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving, research, and communication skills.
  • Based near Udaipur or Kanpur.

Preferred

  • Prior project or internship experience in design, prototyping, or production.
  • Comfortable working onsite.
