Tech Lead

Position Overview

The IT Manager will act as a Tech Lead and the technical bridge between Home101 Vietnam and the Indian development company handling app, website, backend, and cloud server maintenance.

Youll be responsible for:

• Overseeing day-to-day IT operations
• Managing system stability
• Performing quality checks
• Suggesting and planning enhancements
• Ensuring smooth coordination between Home101 business team and Indian developer tech-team.
• Converting company founders business vision into a real App/website functions/features to offer an unmatched products and services to Vietnam market.

This is a key leadership role for someone who understands both the technical and business side of running a live app and web platform.

Youll oversee frontend, backend, cloud servers, APIs, database performance, QA, and continuously propose enhancements or new features to improve our platform.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Oversight

• Monitor and manage all technical aspects of Home101s app, website, and backend systems.
• Review code pushes and ensures quality, stability, and functionality before live deployment.
• Identify and resolve issues across frontend (React, Flutter, etc.), backend , PHP, etc.), and API integrations.

• Conduct periodic system health checks, security audits, and backups.

• Cloud & Server Management

• Manage Cloud Servers in Vietnam, ensuring uptime, scalability, and performance.

• Coordinate with local cloud vendors for server performance, domain, SSL, and hosting issues.
• Monitor resource usage and optimize costs while maintaining reliability.

3. Coordination & Vendor Management

• Act as the main technical liaison between Home101 (Vietnam) and Maintenance and support company in India.
• Track task status, priorities, bugs, and feature progress through project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana).
• Verify that all vendor deliverables meet Home101s quality and performance standards.

4. Quality Assurance (QA)

• Oversee and website testing before every release.
• Prepare test cases, conduct UAT (User Acceptance Testing), and ensure smooth deployment.
• Maintain test documentation and change logs.

5. Enhancement & Innovation

• Continuously evaluate the platform to identify new feature ideas or enhancements.
• Research new technologies, APIs, or services that can improve UX, performance, or cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with business and marketing teams to turn ideas into workable tech solutions.

6. Strategic Role

• Advise management on IT scalability, data architecture, and technology choices for future growth.
• Support decision-making for third-party integrations (payment gateway, SMS, analytics, etc.).
• Build and document best practices for long-term tech stability.

Work location

India based (Remote) for Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam based company.

Preferred candidate profile

Degree requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Masters degree or relevant certifications (e.g., AWS, DevOps, Full Stack, or Cloud Infrastructure) is a plus.
• Candidates with strong hands-on experience and proven expertise in managing applications, servers, and cross-functional tech teams will be considered even without formal postgraduate degrees.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in IT management, full-stack development, or tech leadership.
• Strong understanding of both frontend and backend technologies (React, Flutter, , PHP, MySQL, Firebase, etc.).
• Proven experience managing cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or other Cloud services).
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, testing, and deployment workflows.
• Excellent understanding of API integration, security, and server performance optimization.
• Experience working in Agile / Kanban environments.
• Strong communication and coordination skills to work between teams across countries.
• Good command of English (spoken and written).
