About The Opportunity
Higher education customers are transforming to modern campuses while leveraging technology and solutions to enable student success. We are currently looking for Software Engineer I to join our team and you will be collaborating with innovative team members who are passionate about delivering world-class, customer-focused SaaS solutions for higher education.

Our ideal candidate comes with robust development skills in Java, front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React ), back-end frameworks, databases, RESTful APIs, and collaborative teamwork to deliver high-quality, scalable software solutions within agile environment.

• Have a strong focus on coding standards, performance and security aspects from a development standpoint.
• Participate in the design, development, automation, and testing of high-quality new generation SaaS solutions for the Higher Education market
• Incumbent shall be creative, agile, and own the outcomes from ideation to production
• Collaborate with peers in debugging, streamlining, and troubleshooting issues
• Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, developers, and architects to determine the optimum design, automated test framework, and functionality
• Document and communicate designs to junior developers and stakeholders
• Incorporate industry best practices and influence team standards to enhance maintainability and extensibility
• Actively participate in agile ceremonies (daily stand ups, refinement, sprint reviews, planning, retrospectives)
• Engage in continuous learning and adoption of new concepts, technologies and functionality
• Familiar with leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance product functionality and development efficiency

What You Will Bring

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in any UI based using Javascript, React, and backend development using Node.
• Development experience using JAVA, JavaScript, Node, React and AWS.
• Good understanding of RDBMS and SQL
• Utilize and integrate AI-powered tools and APIs (e.g., Large Language Models like GPT, AI for code generation) into existing and new software products.
• Desired experience working in cloud technologies.
• Experience on version control tools and revision control process.
• Strong communication skills - verbal, listening and written
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented, agile environment.
• Strong analytical skills and eagerness to learn new technologies
