Job Description:

We are seeking to produce high-quality short-format cinematic animations for astrology and stock market storytelling, featuring multiple unique characters and environments. As a 3D Generalist, you will play a central role in bringing these stories to life – from concept art to final cinematic sequences. You'll work closely with our director and concept artist to deliver smooth, polished character animations and cinematic storytelling.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and animate 3D characters with smooth, natural movement and emotional depth.
  • Build, texture, and optimize 3D assets, props, and environments for short-format cinematic scenes.
  • Handle rigging and skinning of characters to ensure fluid animation.
  • Apply materials, textures, and lighting to create consistent visual quality.
  • Execute camera composition, framing, and shot design for impactful storytelling.
  • Work inside Unreal Engine for real-time rendering and cinematic output.
  • Collaborate with the concept artist to translate 2D storyboards into final 3D sequences.
  • Maintain consistency in visual style and meet production timelines.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience as a 3D Generalist, Animator, or similar role.
  • Proeficiency in Zbrush
    for sculpting high detialed characters and props
    , with strong skills in Blender or Maya for modeling, rigging, and animation.
  • Hands-on expertise with Unreal Engine (sequencer, real-time rendering).
  • Solid understanding of lighting, composition, and cinematic shot design.
  • Familiarity with textures, shading, and materials workflows.
  • Strong Portfolio showcasing smooth 3d character animation, well structured props, and cinematic work.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Knowledge of Niagara (VFX), motion graphics, or compositing (After Effects, Premiere Pro).
  • Experience working on short-format animations, game cinematics, or trailers.
  • Interest in cinematic storytelling across different domains (finance, mythology, culture).

Additional Requirements

  • Candidates must share a portfolio/reel that demonstrates : Smooth 3D character animations (not just static models).
  • At least one example of cinematic scene composition and camera work.

A technical test will be part of the selection process to evaluate animation quality, creativity, and speed of execution.
