Roles & Responsibilities:

• Test Case Development: Assist in creating test cases and test plans under the guidance of senior QA engineers.
• Identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects, ensuring clear communication of issues and their resolutions.
• Exploratory Testing: Perform exploratory testing to identify bugs and defects in software applications.
• Automation Testing: Learn and assist in automation testing using tools like Playwright.
• API Testing: Perform in API testing using tools like Postman/Newman.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers, Developers, and other stakeholders to improve software quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Investigate and diagnose bugs via logs, scripts, and logic.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• Freshers or 0-1 year of experience in software testing or related field.
• Basic understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
• Willingness to learn and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic understanding of programming concepts, with familiarity in languages such as Python (or willingness to learn).

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development process.

• Questioning - Ability to analyze requirements and ask relevant questions before writing test cases.

• Ability to identify issues, resolve bottlenecks, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have:

• Basic understanding of cloud computing platforms like AWS.
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix operating system.
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools like JIRA.
