Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager - Service Engineer to join our
KBPS Division in Kochi
.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical support of industrial inkjet printers and related machinery. This role requires strong coordination, hands-on technical expertise, and excellent communication skills to manage relevant stakeholders effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with customer and manage stock of inventory
  • Perform on-site installation and servicing of industrial grade inkjet printers and other VINSAK products/ machines.
  • Troubleshoot issues on-site and remotely.
  • Communicate issues effectively to escalation teams and provide feedback to customers.
  • Clearly articulate product capabilities and give technical training/demonstrations to customers.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and printing related problems in this field.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and printing related problems by phone support.
  • Provide preventive maintenance on all equipment and make recommendations to customers.
  • Proper documentation of all work required i.e., service reports, export expense, installation feedback forms, etc.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics OR Diploma in Electrical/Electronics.
  • Experience: 6 - 7 years (field experience preferred in servo drives or inkjet printers).
  • Strong understanding of servo drives, PLC programs, and the ability to read electrical/mechanical diagrams.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Prior exposure to the printing or packaging machinery industry is an advantage.
