Ms Sql Database Developer

Main Responsibilities
- Understanding of database architecture, normalization, and schema design.
- Creating scalable and efficient database architectures.
- Writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts.
- Optimize queries and improve database performance.
- Working with developers, analysts, and administrators to integrate databases with applications.
- Performing regular backups, updates, and troubleshooting issues.
- Monitor system performance and ensure infrastructure security, identifying and resolving potential risks promptly.
- Work closely with development and operations teams to troubleshoot issues, ensuring system reliability and continuous availability.
- Update support and operational documentation as required
- Ensure good Change management practice is implemented as specified by central standards.
Requirements and Skills:
- Proven 8+ years work experience with systems like Microsoft SQL Server
- Familiarity with tools like SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services)
- Experience with Git or other source control tools.
- Familiarity with cloud-based databases on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with code and version control systems such as Git.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD and available tools
- Experience with Azure DevOps and understanding of Agile methodologies.
