The Internal Auditor is responsible for conducting regular audits of financial transactions, stock, and operational processes in the two-wheeler showroom to ensure compliance, accuracy, and efficiency. The role helps management maintain transparency and prevent financial irregularities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Audit
  • Verify daily cash collections, deposits, and expense records.
  • Check sales invoices, purchase bills, and vouchers for accuracy.
  • Audit bank reconciliation statements and ensure timely updates.
  • Inventory & Stock Control
  • Conduct periodic audits of vehicle, spare parts, and accessories stock.
  • Ensure correct stock entries and reconciliation between physical and system records.
  • Identify discrepancies and report shortages or excesses immediately.
  • Compliance & Process Audit
  • Review compliance with company policies, statutory requirements (GST, TDS, etc.).
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of internal control systems and suggest improvements.
  • Verify adherence to showroom SOPs across departments (Sales, Spares, Service, Accounts).
  • Operational & System Audit
  • Audit customer files, insurance papers, and finance documentation.
  • Check employee attendance, payroll, and incentive calculations for accuracy.
  • Review data entries in DMS/ERP systems to ensure data integrity.
  • Reporting & Recommendations
  • Prepare detailed internal audit reports highlighting variances and risk areas.
  • Recommend corrective actions and follow up on implementation.
  • Submit monthly audit summaries to management for review.
