About the Role:

As a Provider Data Operations Researcher, you will manage and analyze healthcare provider data to ensure accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency. The role involves maintaining provider records, supporting data-driven decisions, and ensuring regulatory standards are met.

A Day in the Life of a Provider Data Operations Researcher:

  • Receive adequate training on in-house tools, Zocdoc products, and process workflow to have sound knowledge and understanding of both
  • Meet or exceed metric goals for both productivity and accuracy
  • Ensure high-quality data verification and structured or unstructured research using available search tools and applications
  • Daily reporting of work done in the available reporting tools
  • Collaborate with AI models to accelerate research, surface inconsistencies, and identify missing or outdated data.
  • Promptly communicate any glitches, impediments in the process workflow to team head and respond to emails in an appropriate and timely manner
  • Be aware of the latest guidelines and policies impacting work
  • Participate in projects that improve data integrity, enhance AI model training through feedback loops, and design workflow solutions leveraging automation

Skills & Qualifications:

  • At least a bachelor's degree from a reputed institution (good percentage or a minimum of 60% in 10th/12th/graduation and above)
  • 1-2 years of work experience
  • Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets for data entry, analysis, and reporting, including mid-level functions such as lookups, pivot tables, conditional formatting, data validation, and error checks.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered tools for research, summarization, and data validation, with the ability to review, refine, and quality-check AI-generated outputs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Strong customer service orientation - ability to communicate with client-facing teams and clients primarily via email, ensuring professionalism, clarity in requirements, and timely updates.
  • Ability to learn quickly, experiment with new tools (including AI solutions), and readily adapt to changing processes.
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills, attention to detail and sharp focus
  • Know-how of Salesforce is a plus
