Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in
Chennai
for a Legal Associate. The Legal Associate will manage legal document preparation, provide expert advice on legal and regulatory issues mainly in the media and entertainment sector, and conduct thorough legal research. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting agreements, reviewing contracts, and offering insights into compliance with applicable laws.

at a marquee client's office in Chennai assisting in the resolution of legal matters, ensuring adherence to regulatory frameworks.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in law and the ability to handle a diverse range of legal issues
  • Proficiency in drafting contracts, agreements, and compliance documentation in the media and entertainment industry;
  • Strong analytical skills to assess legal and regulatory frameworks effectively;
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for seamless collaboration between the Mumbai office and the client's office in Chennai;
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment;
  • Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB), and relevant professional certifications
  • Familiarity with technology and emerging fields like copyrights, data protection, AI, or intellectual property is expected in the ideal candidate.
