Engineering Application Owner

The successful candidate is expected to:
- Manage application roadmaps, enhancements, and integrations for ledger system, order management system, master data management, ETL pipelines
- Manage processes and controls around production grade and SaaS applications
- Drive non functional aspects like performance management, scalability and availability
- Build and manage data pipelines on Databricks, DBT, Snowflake, RSL (Report Specification Language-Geneva) and RDL (Report Definition Language)
- Work closely with front-office, operations, and finance teams to enhance reporting and analysis for alternative investments
- Partner with cross-functional teams to drive automation, workflow efficiencies, and reporting enhancements
- Troubleshoot system issues, implement enhancements, and ensure optimal system performance ensuring follow the sun model for end to end coverage for the applications
- Manage vendor deliverables across SaaS applications used by investment technology
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 7 years experience in enterprise software development, production management, preferably within financial services.
- Experience with at least one programming language - Python, Java, Reactjs, SQL
- Experience working with alternative investments and their reporting requirements
- Hands-on experience in relational databases and complex query authoring.
- Comfortable with fast-moving work environment with quick iterations.
- Must be able to work out of our Bangalore office
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of AWS/Azure services
- Prior experience in asset management/private equity domain
