Job Description – Senior Java Backend Developer

Position: Senior Java Backend Developer

Experience Required: 8–10 Years

Location: Onsite – Bangalore (Client Location: Tata Medical)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Backend Developer to work with our client Tata Medical in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, and AWS cloud services, with proven experience in building scalable, high-performance backend systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy high-quality backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Architect and implement microservices-based solutions ensuring scalability and performance.
  • Work on cloud-native development with AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, etc.).
  • Collaborate with front-end developers, architects, and product teams to deliver robust solutions.
  • Ensure best practices in coding, unit testing, CI/CD, and DevOps.
  • Perform code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
  • Mentor junior developers and guide the team in technical design and solutioning.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 8–10 years of strong backend development experience.
  • Expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
  • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, API security, and authentication mechanisms (OAuth, JWT).
  • Strong skills in SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Good knowledge of system design, performance tuning, and scalability principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
