Job Description:

Role: Junior Petroleum Engineer Quality Analyst/Tester Job Description: Required experience and skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum engineering. This is a must.
• Mandatory skills o Strong in Petroleum Engineering Domain knowledge o 2-4 years of Oil & Gas industry experience o Fair understanding of upstream oil and gas business processes, drilling, the well construction lifecycle and the workflows involved o Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Non-mandatory skills

o Work closely with the Business functions to understand and outlines the business requirements and translate them into test design o Understand the requirements and design test cases for providing testing support for Well Construction product development and releases o Should be a fast learner and assist testers and developers o Understand the business processes and workflows for the product suite and articulate standard testing practices o Creation of Functional, non-functional and systems integration test cases based on the feature requirements and maintain bi-directional traceability o Report logical defects, triage with the development team and track them to closure o Perform different levels of testing, including smoke, regression and system integration o Contribute to UAT by engaging with the business teams and end client SMEs o Able to collaborate with a multi-location team environment o Hands on experience on engineering application testing and good understanding of ALM o Good to have understanding of testing tools and automation, such as Selenium o Ability to work on-call and extended hours as needed o Experience in working in an agile development and support environment

• Develops insight into chosen industry and technology trends
• Contributes to team thought leadership
  Ensures a track record is written up of own assignment and, where appropriate, ensures it is written up as a case study

4. Contribution to Practice/Wipro

• Continually delivers all Wipro admin in a timely manner (timesheets, appraisals expenses, etc.,)
• Demonstrates contribution to internal initiatives
• Contributes to the IP and knowledge management of Wipro and GCG and ensures its availability on the central knowledge management repository or Wipro and GCG
• Leverages tools, methods, assets, information sources, and IP available within the knowledge management platform
• Engages with other consulting and delivery teams to enhance collaboration and growth and is part of the Wipro 'Communities' activities
• Proactively participates in initiatives and suggests ideas for practice development
• Makes use of common methods and tools which are proven to work
• Develops process assets and other reusable artefacts based on learnings from projects
• Proactively participates in and suggests ideas for practice development initiatives
• Shares knowledge within the team and networks effectively with SMEs to bolster understanding and build skills
