Compliance Executive

Role & responsibilities
Handle PF (Provident Fund) and ESIC compliance for all employees across locations.
Manage registration, returns, challans, and monthly remittances for PF and ESIC.
Ensure timely submission of ECR, inspection reports, and statutory filings.
Maintain and update employee records related to PF, ESIC, and other labour compliances.
Liaise with government authorities for inspections, queries, and issue resolution.
Coordinate with payroll teams to ensure statutory deductions and payments are accurate.
Keep track of amendments in PF, ESIC, and other labour laws, and implement necessary updates.
Prepare compliance reports and maintain statutory registers and documentation.
Support HR in employee queries related to PF withdrawals, transfers, and ESIC benefits.
Assist in audits and ensure compliance with labour welfare legislations (e.g., Gratuity, Bonus, Shops & Establishment).
Preferred candidate profile
Strong knowledge of PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, LWF, and other statutory labour laws.
Familiarity with EPFO & ESIC portals and e-filing processes.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel and HR compliance software (e.g., Saral, GreytHR, etc.).
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.
Diploma or certification in Labour Laws or Statutory Compliance is an added advantage.
Preferred Background
23 years of hands-on experience in PF, ESIC, and statutory compliance management.
Experience working in an HR operations or compliance department of a mid to large-sized organization or consultancy firm.
