Role Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with 5 years of hands-on experience in Selenium WebDriver using Python. The ideal candidate will design and develop automated test frameworks, write robust test scripts, and work closely with development and QA teams to ensure high-quality releases. Experience in Salesforce automation is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities:

  • Strong knowledge and experience in Quality Assurance and QA Automation practices
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Python.
  • Build and enhance test automation frameworks (PyTest/Unittest/Robot Framework).
  • Create and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts for web-based applications.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitHub Actions/GitLab CI).
  • Perform functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing.
  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA team members to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
  • Analyze test results, report defects, and track them to closure using tools like JIRA or similar.
  • Maintain version control using Git.
  • Prepare detailed test reports and ensure adherence to QA best practices.
  • Work with Salesforce applications to create automated test scripts (added advantage).
  • Use Salesforce debugging tools (Developer Console, SOQL queries) to validate data and flows (if experienced).

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years of strong experience in Selenium WebDriver with Python.
  • Solid understanding of automation frameworks (Page Object Model, keyword/data-driven).
  • Hands-on experience with PyTest, Unittest, or Robot Framework.
  • Strong scripting skills in Python (OOP, modules, packages).
  • Experience with HTML DOM, XPath, CSS selectors, browser dev tools.
  • Good understanding of REST APIs and tools like Postman.
  • Experience with Git, Jenkins, Docker (optional).
  • Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Nice to Have (Added Advantage)
  • Experience automating Salesforce applications (e.g., using Selenium, API testing, SF locator strategies).
  • Knowledge of SOQL, Salesforce UI architecture, Lightning Components.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce automation tools (Provar, Selenium with SF locators, etc.).
