As a Senior MuleSoft Developer at Crescent Digital, you'll play a key role in mission-critical projects across Financial Services, Manufacturing, Utilities, Public Sector, and Tourism.

You'll work in a collaborative, remote-first environment with professionals across 3 continents. You should be confident in following MuleSoft best practices for reusability, scalability, exception handling, and secure API-led connectivity. You will support Production Integration issues while simultaneously developing new Integrations as per requirements.

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain API-led integration solutions, following RAML-first development

Drive Salesforce-MuleSoft integrations, including Salesforce platform events, bulk API, REST/SOAP, and bidirectional syncs

Implement robust error handling frameworks using OnError Propagate, OnError Continue, and custom error types

Execute and guide Mule runtime migration projects (e.g., from Mule 4.4 to 4.9), assessing compatibility and performance impacts

Create and manage global configurations, reusable flows, DataWeave scripts, and custom connectors

Apply MuleSoft's API-Led Connectivity model—System APIs, Process APIs, and Experience APIs—for scalable architecture

Conduct unit, functional, and performance testing using MUnit and other tools

Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Maven, Git, Jenkins, or Azure DevOpsCollaborate with cross-functional teams (Salesforce, Backend, DevOps, Security) to align integration needs

Actively participate in meetings with Third Party VendorsReview and maintain documentation, integration patterns, and deployment scripts for version control and knowledge sharing

Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field5-7 years of MuleSoft integration experience, with proven Salesforce-MuleSoft project delivery

Hands-on experience in migrating APIs from Mule 4.4 to 4.9, understanding the latest compatibility and deprecation notes

Strong knowledge of MuleSoft connectors like Salesforce, HTTP, Database connector and Mule Transformation using DataWeaveDeep understanding of error handling, transaction management, and retry strategies in MuleExperience working with CI/CD, version control (Git), and deployment automation tools (Azure DevOps preferred)Familiarity with networking basics: VPC, firewalls, VPN, load balancers, TLS, and routingMuleSoft certification (Developer, Integration Architect) is a strong plus
