Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Payment Follow-Up Executive to manage outstanding payments and ensure timely collection of receivables. The role involves communicating with clients/customers to follow up on overdue invoices, resolving billing issues, and maintaining accurate records of transactions and interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor accounts to identify outstanding invoices and payment delays.
  • Follow up with clients/customers via phone calls, emails, or letters to collect overdue payments.
  • Maintain accurate records of all communication and payment statuses.
  • Resolve billing disputes and escalate complex issues to the appropriate department.
  • Coordinate with the sales and finance teams to ensure billing accuracy.
  • Generate and send payment reminders and statements of accounts to clients.
  • Update customer payment information in accounting systems.
  • Prepare regular reports on collection status, aging reports, and recovery forecasts.
  • Negotiate payment plans when required.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations.
