Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior SEO Lead to join our team in Mohali. This is a full-time, mid-level position within our IT firm. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Search Engine Optimization techniques and strategies, and will be responsible for leading SEO initiatives to enhance our clients' online visibility and performance. The Senior SEO Lead will play a pivotal role in implementing effective strategies and providing actionable insights to achieve superior search engine rankings.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proficiency in Google Analytics (Mandatory skill) to analyze web traffic patterns and understand user behavior, aiding in strategic planning and decision making.
  • Experience with Keyword Research Tools (Mandatory skill) for identifying high-value search terms to optimize content and drive relevant traffic.
  • Expertise in On-page SEO Optimization (Mandatory skill), focusing on content relevance, HTML structure, and keyword utilization to improve search visibility.
  • Knowledge of Google Search Console for monitoring website performance and uncovering optimization opportunities to increase site effectiveness.
  • Ability to conduct thorough SEO Auditing to identify and rectify issues affecting site rankings and indexing, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Competency in developing Link Building Strategies essential for boosting site authority and cultivating high-quality inbound links.
  • Proficiency in Content Strategy Development to align with SEO goals, enhancing content effectiveness and search engine visibility.
  • Experience with Technical SEO to resolve site architecture, crawl issues, and ensure mobile optimization, improving user experience and engagement.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute comprehensive SEO strategies that align with client goals, enhancing organic search visibility and traffic.
  • Conduct in-depth site audits and implement actionable plans to address technical and on-page SEO issues.
  • Develop and manage keyword identification strategies to optimize website content and increase search engine rankings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure content, design, and overall marketing strategies align with SEO objectives.
  • Analyze SEO reports and generate insights to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement in site performance.
  • Monitor and evaluate SEO results and KPIs using tools such as Google Analytics and Search Console.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, tools, and algorithm updates to ensure best practices are implemented consistently.
