Your role and responsibilities

In this role, we are looking for an experienced Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Specialist to lead our data and analytics initiatives supporting the Robotics & Discrete Automation Division. The ideal candidate will combine strong expertise in Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Snowflake, and Streamlet with excellent communication and leadership skills. This role involves engaging with business stakeholders, translating requirements into BI solutions, and guiding junior BI specialists to deliver high-quality outcomes

This role is contributing to the Robotics & Discrete Automation in Bangalore, India.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Lead the design, development, and optimization of BI dashboards and reports in Power BI, ensuring alignment with business objectives and data governance standards.
• Translate business requirements into scalable BI solutions through effective stakeholder collaboration, overseeing data pipelines and modeling in Snowflake to support reporting and analytics needs.
• Drive automation initiatives using Power Apps and Power Automate and develop interactive analytical applications in Streamlit for advanced insights.
• Mentor and support junior BI specialists, review their work for quality and adherence to best practices, and ensure compliance with data quality, governance, and security standards.
• Present clear, data-driven insights and actionable recommendations to business leaders and cross-functional teams to enable informed decision-making.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or related domains with a strong understanding of data-driven solution delivery.
• Advanced expertise in Power BI including data modeling, DAX, performance tuning, and governance implementation.
• Proficiency in Power Apps and Power Automate for workflow automation and process optimization.
• Strong SQL skills with hands-on experience in Snowflake for data modeling, transformation, and reporting.
• Experience with Streamlit and Python for developing advanced analytics and interactive applications.
• Proven ability to collaborate with business stakeholders to capture requirements, deliver impactful BI solutions, and mentor junior team members.
• Excellent communication, presentation, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with the ability to influence and engage cross-functional teams effectively.
