Role & responsibilities

  • Acts as a quality expert in project related research and development processes.

  • Deploys Knorr-Bremse Product Development Codex, standards, methods and tools competence.

  • Collects information about project risks and improvement potentials.

  • Identifies maturity level for supplied parts.

  • Creates and ensures adherence to Quality & Safety Plan for the project, and defines quality targets and Quality assurance measures .

  • Escalates quality deviations and derives measures from project risk management.

  • Creates the pre-launch control plan and develops a series control plan.

  • Delivers PPAP packages to customer.

  • Documents lessons learned, and assures that best practices from previous projects are

used.

  • Ensures customer requirements are met throughout the whole project

Key figures (KPI):

  • Secure product launch on right time/quality and cost
  • All necessary auditTo achieve the target ppm
  • To achieve 100 % audit according to project plan. Deviations & actions are documented and monitored regularly.
  • Customer quality requirements are fulfilled

Preferred candidate profile

  • Fundamental knowledge of preventive quality tools (APQP, FMEA, PPAP, MSA, SPC)
  • Project Management know-how
  • Knowledge of IATF 16949 & ISO9001
  • VDA 6.3 audits
  • Complex problem solving abilities
  • Teamwork
  • Communication skills
  • Coaching and Mentoring
