Job Summary
We are looking for a seasoned Test Lead with over 10 years of experience in manual testing, Good understanding on the Automation, API validation, and leading QA efforts across multiple projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in test planning, execution, and defect management, with the ability to thrive in fast-paced, agile environments. This role requires hands-on testing expertise, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams while ensuring high-quality deliverables.

Key Responsibilities


• Lead multiple projects across web, mobile, and backend systems with a focus on functional, regression, and integration testing


• Also self-contributor along with the other up and above task for the Organisation level initiatives. Design detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on business requirements and user stories


• Perform thorough API testing using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or Rest Client


• Collaborate closely with developers, BAs, and product owners to clarify requirements and ensure test coverage


• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adapting to shifting priorities and tight timelines


• Conduct defect triage meetings, track issues, and ensure timely resolution


• Mentor junior testers and promote best practices in manual testing and documentation


• Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups to align QA efforts with development


• Maintain test environments and data for consistent and repeatable testing


• Drive continuous improvement in QA processes and contribute to overall product quality

Required Skills & Qualifications


• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field


• 10+ years of experience in manual testing, including 3+ years in a lead role


• Strong hands-on experience with API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI, Rest Client)


• Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies


• Experience with test management tools like Jira, MTM, Quality Center, or Bugzilla


• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills


• Ability to manage multiple projects and teams in a dynamic, startup-like environment

Preferred Qualifications


• Exposure to automation tools and frameworks is a plus


• Experience with cross-browser and mobile app testing


• ISTQB or equivalent certification
