Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced WordPress Web Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites with strong skills in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design. You will be responsible for creating high-performing, SEO friendly, and visually appealing websites for diverse clients and business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress themes and plugins.
  • Create fully responsive and cross-browser compatible websites.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and payment gateways as required.
  • Optimize websites for speed, performance, and SEO.
  • Troubleshoot and fix website issues, bugs, and errors.
  • Manage website hosting, migrations, and backups when needed.
  • Collaborate with the design, marketing, and content teams to implement new features.
  • Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
  • 1-3 years of professional experience in WordPress development.
  • Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  • Experience with custom theme and plugin development.
  • Familiarity with Elementor, Divi, or similar page builders.
  • Understanding of SEO principles and website optimization techniques.
  • Basic knowledge of cPanel, hosting setup, and DNS configuration.
  • Experience using Git or other version control tools is a plus.

Good to Have:

  • Experience with WooCommerce for eCommerce websites.
  • Knowledge of REST API integration.
  • Understanding of UX/UI design fundamentals.
