Role and Responsibilities: ● Design visual content for print and digital applications that is on-brand reinforces our status and reputation and is appropriate for our various audiences ● Design and layout of essential business materials (e.g. business cards presentations brochures) ● Create infographics and presentation materials to simplify communication of complex concepts ● Edit video clips for use on social media platforms ● Create short videos to highlight recap and promote various endeavors and events ● Work autonomously and develop high-quality concepts with minimal instruction ● Manage timelines and prioritization of workload and know when to ask for direction ● Assist team in developing and executing communication plans ● Provide technical support for design- and video-related efforts ● Optimize graphics and video content for social media platforms ● Contribute to creative ideating for social media ● Maintain organized content files and help to organize and archive existing video and graphics files ● Other duties as assigned. Requirements competencies and skills ● Experience creating strong engaging content. ● A portfolio of applicable outputs ● Excellent research organizational and time management skills. ● The capacity to work independently and collaboratively. ● Ability to work efficiently without compromising quality or accuracy. ● Strong visual communications skills including the ability to communicate complex concepts through videos and images ● Solid verbal and written communication skills must have the ability to storyboard or translate ideas to team member ● Thorough knowledge of Image and Video editing softwares G Suite ● Familiarity with best practices for graphics and video content on social media platforms (YouTube Facebook LinkedIn Instagram) ● Flexibility in working with new issues topics learning and receiving feedback ● Knowledge of layouts graphic fundamentals typography visual aesthetics brand communicationEducation/Experience Environment Work From Office (6 days a week) Number of positions 1 Minimum Qualification Preferred:
Degree in design/film/communications or related field or demonstrated success in relevant professional fields Experience 4-5 years of relevant experience ● Relevant experience in Content creation (Video and Graphic Designs) for social media platforms Not Mandatory but Welcome: ● An understanding of SEO and best practices for videos on social media platforms ● Familiarity using camera and audio equipment - video recording experience
